The experience of training I've done has been done in the office's organizational Vie Scena Contemporanea Festival , a festival of contemporary theater that takes place Every year in October in Modena and its province.
I chose to participate in this experience just because it allowed me to be part of an organization not in staff marginally, but as a real resource to be exploited for the success of the event, and because it allowed me to see in all its stages from birth until the close, a festival of this kind.
When I first arrived, I was excited because I had never had an experience like this, but I am grateful to Louise, our responsibility for not having taken it for granted that the interns were already competent in this field, and I am grateful for not vice versa relegated us to do tasks marginal and useless as inexperienced interns.
I understand that the work of the organization of an event is multifaceted and covers a wide variety of areas, and especially can not be a success of the festival if not working with a team, with a collaborative spirit.
The tasks I performed were mainly: the preparation of promotional materials for the public and material information about the festival, keep in touch with the companies of the festival guests and what are the bureaucratic procedures necessary for their stay; help of ' Accreditation Office, the organization of the requirements of companies in the dressing room and for the show, preparing the pass for companies and staff, and was also one of the referents of some companies.
There were moments of discomfort, but I learned a lot thanks to leaders who have guided us in this experience and thanks to the various tasks that I have done, although I know it is still much to learn and many experiences yet to be addressed.
