" The World Is Mine" is located in Via De 'Bardi at number 36, in the Palazzo Capponi ruins, historic building dating back to 1400. We are located near Ponte Vecchio, and then in the historic center of Florence. The company, which focuses on measuring and travel reservations for museums and offers his professional advisory services to both private individuals and various organizations. In the first week I learn to manage all the activities dealt with by the company and try to use all the programs he works with my colleague, who is currently on vacation. I mean I a bit 'from the secretary: reordering and stock practices ended, I read and sorts the mail, I deal with many requests for reservations in museums throughout Italy by foreign users and answer the phone. I feel satisfied with my experience as an intern: I got to know what procedures must be observed in organizing an event and I learned to manage contacts with sponsors, suppliers, customers and press. My business mentor, Ria De Jacopo, has proved very helpful and patient, but I was also granted wide autonomy. Thanks to the presence in the office of Dr. Samuel Tronci , I've also learned certain concepts inherent to the travel agent. The organizational challenges have arisen during the journey, were useful in teaching problem solving to address situations and above all they showed me not only what you must do in exercising the profession of Event Organizer , but most importantly, what not to do.
